Q: Do you offer a second photographer for weddings?
A: Yes! When we meet or chat over email or facebook let me know that you would like a second photographer at your wedding. The more the merrier!
Q: Where will our photo shoot take place?
A: Nine Photography & Design is an on location photographer and I want to know YOUR special place. Where you first met, the restaurant you love, the park you go to every weekend; let’s make your captures memories all about you. I would love to travel to your home or any location that is special to you. If you’re not sure where you’d like to have your photo shoot I have plenty of location ideas to bounce off of you. I would love to jump into the Subaru and come see you.
Q: Do you only do photo shoots in Des Moines?
A: Listen, I love the Midwest, but I will go where you want me to go! Will I try to talk you out of a long drive to your most favorite place ever? Hell no!
If your desired location is more than a 30 minute drive from Des Moines we will discuss traveling fees when setting up your appointment.
Q: What kind of photography do you do?
A: I want to do it all and I am open to all kind of suggestions and idea to fit your wonderful personality.
If you have questions about a specific type of shoot, don’t hesitate to ask.
Q: Is there an ideal time to have maternity or newborn portraits taken?
A: I generally suggest that maternity clients schedule their appointment near the beginning to middle of the third trimester. Newborns are best shot within the first two weeks of birth, while they maintain that sleepy cuddly state that parents love to have captured. Do you have to invite a stranger into your space within the first 2 weeks of your sweet babe’s life? No…you’re the parent and you know best. I’m here for support in the safest, most effective way.
Q: How do we get our pictures after the photo shoot and what is the protocol for sharing and printing?
A: I will contact you once images are completed with a link to your digital photos. The site is password protected so your images are private. You can share the link and password with anyone you wish to view your images. From that site you can download your images as well. Most galleries include full resolution un-cropped images. The "extra" space in most photos is to accommodate different sizes for cropping (some photo sizes are more square or rectangular). it’s important to download your images, links and galleries since they expire after 9 months and an additional fee may be required to regain access.
